View of Linares de Mora

On the first visit to the village of Castelvispal our veterinary friend, Alberto, from Cullera suggested that we visit Linares de Mora some 12 kilometres distance. Apparently Castelvispal comes under the jurisdiction of Linares de Mora. The reason for Alberto's recommendation was to sample a dish called 'Migas' at the restaurant, 'Tres  Hermanos' or 'The Three Bothers' at the entrance to the village.

Owned by a very pleasant lady named, Matilde, this simple dish of lightly fried breadcrumbs with slithers of chorizo sausage, topped by a choice of an egg or grapes was an experience.

After the meal we decided to explore the village of which, at a much later time, I was to be proposed as being the 'Hijo Predilecto'. This was something similar meaning a 'Son of the village' for my tourist promotional work for the area.

A small place but 'With a Big Heart' I would describe Linares de Mora as it was here that I became friends with many of the inhabitants such as the very able Fina Bar, restaurant and bar owner,

Warm atmosphere in the Fina's Bar.

Angel, Alfredo, Julia Gargallo, Jordi Peiro, Professional 'Jota' teacher, great musician, vocalist and dear friend. Also many more that welcomed me and many others into the wonderful family of Linares de Mora.

Singer of the tradition 'Jotas' and superb musician, Angel
